Aisha Jamila Hinds is one of the popular American actress. Her most well-known role is the roles she played in television series The Shield, and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003, she has shown her range in acting giving outstanding performances in television series like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7, and Under the Dome. Her performance in Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to attract her notice. Her first recognition came from her part in the 2005 biographical movie All the Way. Her portrayal of Harriet Tubman on WGN America's period drama Underground was also highly appreciated. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed 9-1-1 for a brand new season. Hind completed filming recently in the Hollywood flick Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The film is scheduled for release mid-2019. Her mother Krishnaraj worked as an Army scientist who died on March 18 2017 and her mother Vrinda is a domestic worker. Aditya Rao who is employed in merchant navy engineering, is her older sibling. Bachchan's brother co-produced and co-wrote the movie Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. Arya Vidya Mandir School was her high school located in Mumbai after she moved there along with her parents. After finishing her studies for intermediate through Jai Hind College, she began her studies at D.G. Ruparel College Matunga was where she scored 90% on her H.S.C. exams. She spent the first five years in adolescence doing classical dance and studying music. She loved studying zoology. Bachchan was a student of Architecture when she became Miss World. This title pushed her into modeling's speed lane. She was awarded lucrative contracts with Vogue magazine and PepsiCo Inc., along with the L'Oreal Paris spokesperson contract in 2003. She played two critically acclaimed parts: Iruvar and Aur pyaar hojaia. Bachchan turned into the face of New Bollywood with these films that defied Bollywood's basic model of organization. Her heartbreaking portrayal of Paro the love interest who is livid by her lover in Devdas (2002) the film that was one of the most well-known Bollywood movies of the time and first shown at Cannes Film Festival cemented her as the Queen of Bollywood. She received great praise for her role of Chokher Bali (2003) which was a dramatic drama based upon RabindranathTagore's book. In that same year she was the sole Indian actress in the Cannes Film Festival jury. Bachchan played the role of Bride and Prejudice, a ballet and musical version of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. That was when Bachchan made her famous by bringing star power and beauty to her first major film in English. Before releasing Provoked:A True Story 2006 in English the actress returned to Bollywood for a role in Dhoom: 2 (2006 smash hit). In April 2007, she was married to Abhishek Bachchan a frequent co-star and the son of Bollywood legendary Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage which brought together two of India's most powerful personalities.
