Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his part in the show on television 'Law and Order Special Victims Unit. The first time he became interested in acting was when he was in college. He completed his acting studies at University of Colorado at Boulder. While he has appeared in movies and in television shows but it's the character actors on smaller screens which have earned him acclaim. It is no surprise that he has been able grab audiences' attention by playing characters who are on either sides of the legal system. In the first television show, he played the part of a killer. He then went on to play the part of an NYPD Detective. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he's been awarded multiple nominations for prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. The eyelashes that are piercing and blue, which are said to make his look attractive. They've assisted in play the rough characters in an enthralling manner. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
